IRIS supports Organization of the Second Trade Forum Between Isfahan & Muscat

As a part of its mission to facilitate technology transfer in the region, Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development (IRIS) helped the Nasr Al Dovaliye company, one of the private tenant companies in ISTT, organize the second business forum of Muscat in Isfahan in which there were hundreds of B2B meetings between Iranian high-tech companies and 40 Omani businesspeople. The event, named the second Muscat Week in Isfahan, also received support from Isfahan Science & Technology Town (ISTT); Isfahan Governor General Office; Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Isfahan House of Industries and Mines, and some other local organizations at the national level.

During the one-week event, the businesspeople visited Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) and they were briefed about IRIS activities and learned about the scope of activities IRIS focuses on, as well.

Two academic members from the University of Nizwa and Sultan Qaboos University also accompanied the delegation. IRIS took the opportunity to network at international levels and to discuss possible ways of cooperation with those universities to help establish science parks in Oman.

136 Iranian companies from different cities including Isfahan, Tehran, Sistan & Baluchestan and Mashhad participated in the event which resulted in 969 B2B meetings. It was the second time IRIS co-organized and supported such meetings with Omani delegation here in Isfahan.
