IRIS Holds Special Experience Sharing Session with Visiting Expat
Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development, under the auspices of UNESCO (IRIS) held an experience sharing session with Dr. Alireza Bakkhshai, E-Power professor at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Queen’s University in Canada, on 16th of December, 2019.
The experience sharing session was about “Emerging Technologies in Power Grids”. The session highlighted new and emerging clean technologies that are currently being used abroad, the existing technological gap between the advancements in clean technology in Iran and other countries, and possible ways for bridging this gap. The meeting was attended by the C.E.Os of resident ISTT start-up companies working in the field of alternative clean power. During the session future collaboration in research and production was suggested and is currently under evaluation.

Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubators and Science Park Development was established in Isfahan in May 2010 according to an agreement between Islamic Republic of Iran and UNESCO. Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) is the host for this regional center.
